I recently spoke with Kelly at Bloom Honey about trying some of their Raw Honey Products for the blog. I used to be terrible about using a ridiculous amount of sugar in my coffee and desserts, but have since discovered the benefits of raw honey and have felt so much better since making the switch!
I was excited to try Bloom Honey since they are 100% Raw and offer so many different flavor varieties. I opted to try the White Clover, Sage, Orange Blossom and Cinnamon. Aren't their jars the cutest? I love collecting jars and since I don't use plastic in my home, these are going to go to good use!
Why Bloom Honey?
At Bloom Honey, we extract single floral varietal honey straight from the beehive and deliver it to you the way our honeybees created it - 100% raw and pure. It's that simple.
Our honey is never pasteurized or filtered. We gently heat it just enough to facilitate bottling, but never near the temperature that will degrade its nutritional quality. We allow all of the pollen grains, propolis, and nutrients to pass through to you intact.
Each single floral varietal has its own personality - a unique flavor, color, and texture. Every jar of Bloom Honey is a truly unique manifestation of nature's creation.
The White Clover Honey was really delicious and perfect for my coffee! It had a lighter taste that combined quite well in coffees and teas or drizzled over yogurt + berries.
I wasn't sure how I would like the Orange Blossom honey in my morning lattes, but I was pleasantly surprised! It had a wonderful taste and honestly, the orange blossom only added to the flavor of the coffee and didn't overpower it like I thought it would. Definitely a winner!
The Sage was delicious as well! I had the same thoughts as the Orange Blossom, that the Sage would overpower the coffee, but it had just the slightest hint of sage, which was perfect!
I honestly didn't realize how many benefits there were from consuming raw honey! No wonder I feel so much better since switching from sugar to raw honey.
A few Benefits of Raw Honey
100% pure raw honey also delivers trace amounts of enzymes, vitamins, minerals, organic acids, amino acids, hormones, bioflavonoids, antioxidants, aromatic substances and water.

Raw Honey is also great for a sleep aid- each night I make a tea with turmeric, the cinnamon raw honey and sea salt and I sleep like a baby!
