Is it Summer yet?
I was talking to Todd over at Reeds Inc. about sampling some of their products and he very kindly sent over some varieties of their specialty drinks and ginger candies. As excited as I was to review these, I honestly think that my husband may have been even more excited! He has tried their Ginger Beer brew, so he was very excited to try the others that were new to him!
My husband's absolute favorite was the Flying Cauldron Butterscotch ale. As soon as he tasted it, he said you seriously have GOT to try this. The best way to describe it is that it tastes like liquid butterscotch candy! Yum!
I really enjoyed all of the beverages but my favorite has always been the original ginger brew; it's so refreshing and light on a hot day! My husband really enjoyed them while he worked on house projects and I was a happy wife, knowing that he was drinking something healthy!
Another of my favorites was the crystallized ginger and the peanut butter ginger candy chews! The crystallized ginger really helped to soothe my throat and not to mention that ginger is great for tummy troubles. I love the fact that they use real baby ginger root in their candies and not artificial flavorings like some other manufacturers. I loved the combination of ginger + peanut butter in the peanut butter ginger chews!
